U12 Head Coach

Kelsey Lowden

Kelsey Lowden just completed her first season with Kean University Cougars, making 17 appearances as a freshman – including two starts – for the 14-6 Cougars in their run to the NCAA Division III Final Four in 2023.

Lowden was a stalwart in the classroom as well, earning recognition for her selection to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad.

A 2023 graduate of Central Regional High School, she was a four-year varsity field hockey player for the Golden Eagles and served as captain of the squad both her junior and senior seasons. Lowden was also a Top-100 Junior and Top-100 Senior as named by NJ.com, as well as an Ocean County Senior All-Star selection. She was also a member of the 2021 Shore Conference “A” South Division Champions. In addition to field hockey, Lowden was also a stalwart for the varsity softball team at Central.

Lowden is an alumnus of the Phoenix Elite U19 club team, where she appeared with the squad at the 2022 Shooting Stars Jamboree, 2022 Shooting Stars Thanksgiving Showcase and 2023 USAFH Sunshine Showcase. She is also an active coaching member of United States Field Hockey Association (USAFH) and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).

She is primarily responsible for coaching our U12 Club Team, as well as our FUNdamentals U10 skills programs.
