My daughter who is a junior has been with Phoenix Elite for over a year now and the experience has been nothing but positive on and off the field. Her game has improved so much with the new skills she has learned. They have been a tremendous help off the field with her college search - from setting up amazing college showcase tournaments to helping her communicate with college coaches before and after tournaments. They have always been available to help when my daughter has reached out with a question or help with her college search. It’s been a huge help to us as parents. Another thing that sets them apart from other teams that really stuck out to my husband and I is the support they show to the girls by showing up at their high school games in the fall on their free time. Phoenix Elite - the field hockey club team where our daughter, Adrianna, learned to hone her skills, adapt to different levels of competition, and foster friendships and relationships with teammates and coaches. It is where her passion for field hockey really commenced.Phoenix Elite encouraged and supported our daughter, now a college-level goalkeeper, through her high school athletic journey. During many games, they would be sitting in the bleachers - excited for every move and every block and every clear made by our daughter. In addition, they were supportive with every step of the college process, and they attended college games, too. Phoenix Elite continues to be a part of our daughter's life. The beauty of this club team is that they are equally concerned about every facet of their athletes - their scholarly achievements, their athletic accolades, and their home life, and that is because Phoenix Elite is family!

The program of Phoenix Elite has helped my two daughters— oldest being 18 and youngest being 10– grow more and more into strong and mature girls both in and off the fields. My daughter Mallory joined Phoenix Elite in September 2021. Throughout her years at Phoenix, Mallory has received phenomenal coaching allowing her to improve her stick skills and learn a new position on the field. The owners are present and involved with each and every practice and have cultivated a family atmosphere for the girls to learn and grow in. The team is composed of girls from throughout Ocean county, often encountering each other as opponents on the varsity fields. They all root for each other, and often gather for a quick hug and chat at the end of their high school games. When Mallory made the decision to pursue field hockey in college she received tremendous support from Phoenix Elite. The U19 team has showcased in major tournaments playing in Florida at ESPN, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, and college coaches line the field to see the upcoming players. In addition, LT and Robin (the owners) have personally reached out and spoke to coaches on our daughter's behalf. When Mallory received her official offer, she couldn’t wait to tell them! As Mallory graduates this spring, she is looking forward to continuing to play at the University of Scranton.

Being apart of Phoenix Elite has been something that I will forever be grateful for. At the end of the school season during my freshman year, I was looking for more. My mom had found clinics that were being hosted when Phoenix had just started. I had attended almost every clinic and as a freshman, I was invited to play with the first ever U19 Team where we were traveling to numerous tournaments being played at a high level. I had gotten a feel for what the sport of field hockey could be outside of my high school experience. I was able to meet new friends, which grew to be some of my best friends, and play with the top talent from Ocean County where I was pushed to be the best version of myself. Over the course of my high school career, I was able to grow as a leader on and off the field, mastered my stick skills, and hone in on my ability to read the field. My experience with Phoenix Elite has led me to my future path of playing collegiate field hockey at Montclair State University. It has also given me an opportunity to volunteer my time and coach the next generation of girls who love the game just as much as I do.

Phoenix Elite has been a great experience not only for our daughter, but as a parent too. The team is hard working and exactly what our daughter needs to help improve her skills. She enjoys the practices and especially the coaching staff who are hands-on. The girls get to play tournaments and showcase their skills with other teams.

Before I joined the Phoenix Elite team, I had no clue that I would end up playing field hockey in college. Phoenix helped open my eyes to a sport that is now a big part of my life and has helped shape me into the person I am now. When I was first invited to play on the first ever u19 tournament team as a freshman, I was just like mostly everyone else in ocean county who was playing just for fun in high school. As I trained with this team and we traveled to high level tournaments, I knew that this sport meant so much more to me. This club has deepened my love for the sport and is the main reason why I will be continuing my field hockey career at The College of New Jersey next year! Not only has Phoenix Elite helped me grow my skill and knowledge of the game but has also brought me unbelievable friendships and a new level of confidence in myself as a leader and I will forever be grateful for everything this club has done for me!

Field Hockey is a worldly sport. It encompases talent, commitment, communication, dedication, and above all passion. Each of these actions are the same virtues that the coaches and players at Phoenix Elite are committed to both on and off the field. Phoenix Elite offers the opportunity for many players as young as 5 and older, to learn and grow with the program. Starting with their "Littles" Skill Sessions through advancing to pre-collegiate style tournament hockey with the U19 team, the growth and increase in skills are nonetheless of high quality and ever evolving to meet the needs of the growing sport in the US. As a former player and mother to a current "Littles" player on the U12 team, I have been ever so impressed with the commitment and dedication I have seen within the organization. As my daughter has navigated through her journey to finding what position defines her, the coaches have supported her and guided her along the way. Her journey has found her to becoming the youngest goalkeeper the program has ever had and with the amazing guidance of the Goalie Trainer Coach Kaitlin Maguire, she has found her passion and quite a few new "dance moves" that shows her love for the sport. Coach Kaitlin has shared her impressive skills and astonishing resume of knowledge with my daughter to allow her to develop into the Goalkeeper that fits her personality and talent that is always improving. Never in my life did I ever imagine that I would be the parent of a Goalie. It is one of the most underestimated positions as Goalkeeper (and parent of a Goalkeeper!) but we have been met with open communication and plenty of support with any issue or questions that we have come across. I cannot express how happy we are to have joined this program and look forward to continuing through the years of adventures that are ahead.

Unfortunately, I only found Phoenix Elite this spring and joined immediately. They have helped me improve my hockey skills tremendously, preparing me for the collegiate level next year. I wish I joined the club earlier in my high school career! You learn to focus on the little things as well as learning to embrace your weaknesses. The team has so much love and support and allows you to make mistakes and learn from it. The coaching staff is amazing and is always there to help you become the best player you can be. I will miss this program so much and am so thankful to be apart of it for my last club season:)

I started my field hockey career in middle school and instantly fell in love with the sport. I knew this was something that I wanted to go farther with so in my sophomore year of high school my parents and I started looking for somewhere to play outside of my high schools. I found Phoenix Elite and started playing for their U19 team. Over the past few years I have grown tremendously as a player and an individual. I’m so grateful for the memories and friendships I have made while with this team. The coaching staff is always encouraging and supportive of us which helped us strive to be the best we could be both on and off the field. They push us hard because they know that we are capable to achieve growth as individuals and as a team. As I finish my senior year I am grateful for the great coaching and support I have received from Phoenix Elite. It has helped me in so many ways. I have been recognized both by the NFHCA and my high school for being an outstanding athlete and scholar student. This fall I will be attending the University of Scranton playing Field Hockey and pursuing a degree in Kinesiology and studying to become a Physical Therapist.
