Our Foundations & Fundamentals program is designed for brand-new and beginner players ages 5-10 to build a strong starting point in the sport — all while having fun! Through engaging drills, small-sided games, and hands-on coaching, athletes will:
Grow Together — foster teamwork, communication, and a love for field hockey
Learn the Basics — stick handling, passing, receiving, shooting, and defensive positioning
Build Confidence — develop coordination, spatial awareness, and game understanding
Play the Game — apply new skills through fun, game-like scenarios
2026 Fall FUNdamentals Sessions.
- Dates: Sundays, October 4, 11, 18 & 25; November 1 and 8
- Fee: $125
- Time: 12 to 1 p.m.
- Ages: 5-10 years old (beginning players)
- Turf Field
- Sessions capped at 25 athletes – DON’T delay Registering!
*Sessions will take place on the turf field at West Dover Elementary School, Toms River, NJ
