U19 Club Team Head Coach

Madison Stuerze

Madison Stuerze is in her third year of coaching with Phoenix Elite and is the head coach of the U19 Head Club Team Coach.

In 2023, she became a Region 6 coach with Nexus, the “Futures” program for USA Field Hockey.

Stuerze is a 2021 graduate of Stockton University, where she was a three-year starter for the Osprey’s field hockey squad, serving as captain in 2021. During her time at Stockton, she earned All-NJAC Second Team honors in 2020; 2018, 2019 and 2020 NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention; and was named to the NFHCA National Collegiate Academic Squad in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

She is an alumnus of Pinelands Regional High School, where she earned 12 varsity letters in field hockey, basketball and softball. During her four years at Pinelands, she was a standout field hockey player, serving as Co-Captain her senior season and earning Shore Conference All-Division Team honors in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Stuerze was also named the Wildcats’ MVP and was recognized with a National Women in Sport award her senior year.

Prior to joining the Phoenix Elite staff, Stuerze served as the assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Colts Neck High School – winning of the 2020 NJSIAA Central East State Sectional title during her tenure.
